Volunteering at Lydney Hub is a great way to get involved with your local community, make a difference, enhance your skills and of be part of a new and exciting project. 

Lydney Hub was set up and is managed by a dedicated group of volunteers, each bringing their own unique set of values, skills, knowledge and experience to draw from. 

There are many reasons to join us here at Lydney Hub and there are many roles to choose from. Whether you want to gain work experience, help plan events or work face to face with young people, we can help you find the role for you.

To volunteer you must be over the age of 18.

Current Vacancies

FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

The facilities development manager will lead on the design, procurement and delivery of a new youth space, supporting trustees and committee members with decision making and provide an additional level of project management in terms of design and liaising with professional teams.

HR MANAGER

The Head of HR will be responsible for recruiting, training, evaluating and assessing volunteers. They will also be responsible for ensuring Lydney Hubs policies, procedures and staff training are regularly reviewed and updated in compliance with UK law.

HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS

The Head of Communications will focus on building valuable partnerships with the local community by creating content and telling stories to effectively engage the target audience in innovative and exciting ways to promote the aims of the organisation and connect.

JUNIOR LEAD YOUTH
WORKER

We are looking for a Lead Youth Worker, to oversee our juniors (years 6 - 9) providing a safe, fun and welcoming environment for members. To create opportunities for social development encouraging them to experience and participate in new ideas, activities and events.

SENIOR LEAD YOUTH
WORKER

We are looking for a Lead Youth Worker, to oversee our seniors (years 9 - 13) providing a safe, fun and welcoming environment for members. To create opportunities for social development encouraging them to experience and participate in new ideas, activities and events.

LEAD YOUTH WORKER
18-25'S

We are looking for a Lead Youth Worker, to facilitate a new group for 17–25-year-olds, providing a safe, fun and welcoming environment for members. To create opportunities for social development encouraging them to experience and participate in new ideas, activities and events
